JetWashDirect Ltd - Terms and ConditionsBy placing an order on the JetWash Direct website you agree to accept our terms and conditions set out below:
Shipping And Handling:Shipping is included in the price of the unit delivered to U.K. Mainland destinations only, unless stated otherwise. For goods to other U.K. offshore destinations, an additional charge will be made. This will depend on the exact product purchased and location of delivery address. Shipping charges maybe requested prior to shipment.
Should parcels be returned after 2 delivery attempts, a fee of £8.50 minimum will apply to re-send the order. Should the customer decide to cancel at this time, a charge of £8.50 will be deducted from the refund to cover costs involved.
For goods being shipped to European Destinations, confirmation of shipping costs will be confirmed prior to despatch. Goods purchased in error will incur a fee to cover the initial shipping costs. See Returns Policy
Delivery Schedule:Delivery of goods is normally within 10 business working days on receipt of your order. Certain goods may have to be specially ordered in to stock, for these goods delivery will be longer. We will advise you of an Estimated Delivery Date.
GOODS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT MUST BE SIGNED FOR AS "DAMAGED GOODS" ON THE CARRIERS NOTE.
FAULTY OR MISSING GOODS MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN 3 DAYS OF DELIVERY.
WE CANNOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGED OR MISSING PARTS IF THIS PROCEDURE IS NOT FOLLOWED.

Back Orders:If for some reason your product/s selection is currently out of stock, we will automatically place your order on our 'Back Ordering' system and notify you of such action being taken. You have the right to cancel or continue with your purchase.
Tax Charges:Product prices listed on our site include VAT at 20% ( 01.01.11 )
Guarantee:All machinery products carry a 12 month Back To Base Guarantee against manufacturing defects unless stated otherwise. Accessories have a 30 Day Guarantee except Valves, Bearings, seals, HP Hoses and HP Guns which are considered wear and tear items.
The warranty is provided by the retrospective manufacturer. It is the customers responsibility to take a faulty items to the repair centre.
Where a back to base repair is offered, if the product is more than 28 days old, it is the customers responsibility to return the faulty item to relevent uk manufacturers repair centre.
All costs involving returned or transported items are the responsibility of the customer and neither Jetwash Direct or the manufacturer will be liable for any costs involved or any claim for loss of income or loss of any other kind. The guarantee shall become void if any repair is attempted by the purchaser or a third party. This applies to swivels that have been opened or dismantled by the user or unauthorised person.
Any item classed as Domestic but used for commercial purposes or in a commercial premises, the warranty will become void. Domestic items delivered to commercial premises or to a company address will be classed as being used for commercial purposes, even if this is not the intended place of use. Items used for hire or loan are not guaranteed.
If an item is returned for repair under warranty and the fault is found not to be covered under warranty, Labour and shipping will be charged at the manufactures rates. Rates available on request. This also applies to new products that are returned as faulty but found to be in good working order. Exported items require all shipping charges to be paid by the customer ( Forward & Return ).
Returns Policy:Under distance selling regulations you have a 14 day period to cancel your order.
As soon as the goods are used, you will be deemed to have accepted the goods and therefore will not be returnable for refund unless faulty.
We do not offer a use and return policy, therefore if you do not intend to keep the item, do not use it.
Prior to goods being returned, whether for repair, replacement or refund - a 'Returns Authorisation number' must be issued.
Items sent without a valid returns authorisation number, cannot be accepted and the item will be returned to the sender. This is to ensure that goods can be tracked accurately without loss or unnecessary delay.
Your return carriage charges are not refundable ( minimum £7.50 if the order didn't show a shipping charge ) and you should choose a suitably packed, insured and traceable shipping method. We are not responsible for lost or damaged goods whilst in transport.
Cancelled Goods must be returned within 7 days of authorisation.
If a cancelled order is returned in a condition that cannot be resold as new, we reserve the right to refuse a refund or deduce the refund amount to cover the reduced resale value of the item.
Business to Business transactions cannot be returned unless faulty on delivery.
Export Orders:Goods purchased for export cannot be returned for refund, unless the item arrives faulty or damaged.
It is your own responsibility to check that the goods purchased are compatible with the export destination country. Electrical power supply voltage and frequency will need to be considered , before purchasing.
Imported Orders or Orders Manufactured On Request:
Special order items specifically imported or manufactured at the customers request cannot be cancelled in any circumstances, once the order has been processed.
Refunds:Under distance selling regulations you have a 14 days cooling off period for returning goods.
As soon as the goods are used you will be deemed to have accepted the goods and therefore will not be returnable.
Items purchased in error will have to be returned at the customers expense, the product must be unused, complete with all original packaging and in a condition that is re-saleable.
NILFISK ALTO products are dispatched directly from Denmark. In most circumstances it will be uneconomical to return Nilfisk Alto parts but if you wish to cancel for refund we will arrange the shipment is returned to Denmark at a fee of £20 per order.
Business to Business or Commercial Goods TransactionsDo not apply under distance selling regulations, therefore delivered goods or specially ordered items will not be accepted back or cancelled for refund unless faulty.
Commercial equipment delivered to a private address or purchased by an individual will be considered a commercial purchase. Once an item is used, it is deemed as accepted. In extremely special circumstances, a manufacturer of a non-faulty product may agree to accept the item back for refund but the decision will be taken by the manufacturer and not by Jetwash Direct. Since we do not sell used equipment, Jetwash Direct cannot authorise a return. Please note that non-faulty products that are accepted back due to a customer's error in purchasing, will be charged a restocking fee of at least 20% of the invoice value. All shipping charges are not refundable and it is the customers responsibility to return the product to the agreed address carriage paid.
